In September 2012, the Foundation dedicated a state-of-the-art media system in the library’s program room in honor of former president Phil Bognar to thank him for his many years of service.

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library and the Foundation board joined forces several years ago to renovate the library program, making it more attractive and functional for events. It has been the site of countless community meetings, library programs and programs sponsored by the Foundation, including visits by award-winning authors.
