Adults and high school students are invited to learn a fun, relaxing way to be creative at a free Zentangle Workshop on Thursday, May 11 in Tolland.
Zentangle is the art of drawing structured doodles, called tangles, in beautiful patterns. It is said to increase focus and creativity, provide artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of well-being.
The Tolland Public Library Foundation and the Tolland Public Library are sponsoring the event from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Conference Room A at Tolland Town Hall at 21 Tolland Green.
The workshop will be presented by Jamilah Zebarth, a certified Zentangle teacher based in central Connecticut.
Materials will be provided for participant use during the class. Registration is required. To register, call the Tolland Public Library at 860-871-3620 or use the online events calendar at tolland.org/library.
The library foundation expects to have a waiting list for the class, so please cancel your reservation if you can’t attend.
