To help support the purchase of books, magazine subscriptions, e-books, audio books, DVDs and other materials at the Tolland Public Library, the Tolland Public Library Foundation is holding a $10,000 matching fundraising drive.
More than $2,400 has already been donated to the library and is being matched dollar-for-dollar by the Foundation. The drive ends Dec. 31 or at $10,000, whichever comes first!
Although funds were restored to the library’s current books and materials budget, continued uncertainty about future state funding for the town convinced the Foundation board to continue the matching drive through the end of 2017.
Library patrons, Tolland residents and local businesses, please consider making a tax-deductible gift of any size to the library by the end of the year.
Donations can be made in person at the library at 21 Tolland Green or can be mailed to Tolland Public Library, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084. Checks should be made payable to the Tolland Public Library.
